On my Paul, none of the holes/pickups lined up correctly. Thankfully, this design lends to hide that. I could write it off as pilot error, but I dunno. Something just didn't seem right.

The attached image looks good from a distance, but up close you can see the installation errors.

So you ordered the uncut skin or the Les Paul Studio skin? And what model and year is your guitar. Sorry, we're perfectionist so when things aren't exact, it kinda bugs us. But you're right it does still look great!

Yes, the skin was uncut. There's an option to receive a cut skin??? No, I didn't order a Studio because I have an '02 Les Paul Standard.

My first cut I followed the white "binding" like it showed on the video, but that made it too wide so I cut along the actual graphic and it seemed to fit better.

I see. We offer the the axewraps for both the studio and classic. We'll have to work on getting one for the standard. Thanks for your input!

Call me crazy, but I would have thought the Standard would have been the first one you'd make. Perhaps you ought to let people know if they have a Standard, then they're SOL.
