Just order the snakeskin for my OLP AXIS musicman copy. I was looking for help on "doing it yourself" wraps. Cutting, measuring, any hints or trick that I should use? Are there any videos or PDFs showing someone doing a "do it yourself" wrap? Any help?

I'm in a similar predicament. I'm considering building a frankenjackson, and i'd like to finish it in one of your wraps (specifically the metallic green diamond plate). Was wondering A: if it will fit, and B: any tips you have. My plan was to apply it to the body and go to town with an exacto knife. It might be smart to do that with some plain paper and then do the same cutouts on the wrap. Anyway, here's roughly the guitar i'm going to be using: http://media.photobucket.com/image/jackson%20guitar/goukijyaku/101_2009.jpg -- a basic flattop H/H Jackson, with a floyd.

Cool guitar. The "uncut" skin will certainly fit. However, since we are looking to add this guitar template to our product offerings, if you want, we would be happy to template your guitar, create the skin, and apply it for free at our shop, then mail it back to you. Plus we will mail you two free axewraps for late application. If you are interested in that option, please let us know.

Hmm, cool offer. It seems that this project may be falling through (the neck i thought i had got sold to someone else) -- I do have a Line 6 Variax 300 that i'd like to do this to as well. Would something similar apply there? if so, how does it work?

I believe we already did this with a Line 6 Variax 300. I'll check though. Also, it makes it easier to template and ship with no neck if you want to continue along with the other.
