Hey okay well I have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus which is not currentlty an option on here. After doing some research I decided that a skin shape could be switched out for a Gibson Classic for the best result. I mean if you can put my guitar on here that would be awesome and I would definately start purchasing skins from here more often... But anyways, My guitar is a rare color and therefore I cannot afford to have a skin mess up my finish. I haven't seen any posts about this so I thought I'd ask for myself. What type of effects does your skins have on the finishes of the guitars, can it be removed without damaging the lacquer and whatnot.

In almost all cases, the wrap has no effect on the finish of a guitar whatsoever and can be removed with little to no adhesive residue. There are some nitrocellulous finishes, however, on which the wrap may leave some adhesive residue when it's removed. We've tested a product call Virtuoso Cleaner and it is the only product we recommend for cleaning nitrocellulous finishes. Here is the link to their website if you find you need a cleaner specifically designed for nitrocellulous finishes: www.virtuosopolish.com.
